Well maybe i can help you out, this is what i do.
Get CuteFTP 3.6 Beta [FREE here:http://www.trustmeher.net/files/ftp.htm
Its free for 30 days......
Install program, open Cuteftp, press ftp/quick connect & add host address + UserID/Password, then press ok......
