hey hey....I only support this guy because I had a lot trouble finding that specific track, and as Lasse wisely oints out the single is out of print, I cant order by web myself, I just wnated to help this poor fellow out. No way I would help if we talked about a "tilgængeligt" track as "ewil twin" or "goldenway"

D-Allan-D - 1999, japan, +1 (song) - I guess that would be the Japanese Simpatico including the track "Favours" Smiley-midget

I cannot personally find out all these smart computer buy by web tricks, and therefore I would love to ket someone hear this track, especially as I dont think the band wouldnt feel it economicak even if we all shared the file.... and about me preffering mp3 files, I was reffering to lasse and the jukebox...

@ Fred the Pet
well what would you say if everyone in Denmark took let´s say "1 øre" from you that would be the same, You would not notice it, if only a few people took it, but if everyone did it would ruin you.

Think about that next time you fileshare somthing illigal ;)

@GF oh chill out... have you considered that when he's heard how great the song is, he might go out and /buy/ the songs? I know I've used "illegal" filesharing a lot that way...
Have you ever traded bootlegs? that's illegal you know!
Have you ever ripped a "copyprotected" cd to listen to the tracks on your computer or mp3-player? THAT IS IN FACT ILLEGAL!
I have recorded the scare video and shared with some friends - in theory that's illegal, but could you tell me how it hurts the artists, since it's not possible to go buy it? If I could, I would!

@gf....I dont think you got my point. This track is rather rare and hard to get, I dont think I'm ruining the band by sending it to a few people, got it send myself (really appreciate that thanks mille!) Had it been a "tilgængeligt" track I wouldnt send it...never in a life time! of coursei think what zd does with ripped of videos and so on are ok. as long as they are hard to get!

hope I made myself clear, else I'll be willing to give it another try.

It's not an issue if it's a "hard to get track" or not.

The issue is that people are taking the law into their own hands.
You can't build a society where everyone can make their own rules - everyone has to follow the same rules, even though we all think that some laws are stupid or inconvinient.

And besides, you think it's alright to send a track to "a few" friends, but how many friends are "a few"? 10? 20? 1.000?

Furthermore, I didn't believe my own eyes, when I saw that this request was taken up at the site of the original copyright owners...

Shame on you!

Just my 2 cents....

Hey, GF...stop being an ass. I'm not an idiot, and I'm not trying to cheat the band. I'm in the U.S., where finding ANYTHING by this band is nearly impossible. I've spent a lot of cash on D-A-D...a LOT more than you have, I'll wager...because I have to import EVERYTHING at great expense. And the bottom line is that I really would like to hear this track, and it's no longer available. And I'm damn sure not spening $50 on a Japanese import of an album I already own just for a b-side track.

If you don't want to help, don't post, you self-righteous pricks.

I agree with you, Rod. I've got the 'Everything Glows' single with the track on it. I'm not interested in selling but mail me and we'll see what we can do about it.

To GF and anyone else with the same opinion, I'd say that I think it's fair to help fans that are having trouble finding different songs/albums. I don't believe that D-A-D will be hurt in many ways by helping an American fan in this way. He says he has spend a lot of money supporting the band, and I can say for myself that I've also thrown a decent amount their way (all original albums, MANY koncerts, t-shirts, posters, etc).

THIS IS NO COMPLAINT! I DON'T REGRET ANY OF THE MONEY I'VE SPEND ON D-A-D! IT'S BEEN WORTH EVERY DIME/PENNY/KRONE!

Would I buy a painting without seeing it first?
NO, I would NOT.

Would I buy a pair of shoes without trying them out first?
NO, I would NOT.

Would I buy music without listening to it first?
What am I? Stupid?
NO, I would NOT.

Too bad piracy (law breaking) is the only way to do it.

I really am blessed for not following every rule of the oh so mighty society like blind sheep
thanks mom for my so beautiful brain

Hey Rod
I remember you on this site from years back. That is if I'm thinking of the same Rod D-A-D fan from the States. I'm in the country just north of you. I can understand what your saying. It was difficult for me to get all of D-A-D's material. Alot of Denmark fans helping me out, special web ordering, etc.
You can drop me an e-mail if you like.

Hey Rod
Your thinking of Skelly. He was located in Alberta or Manitoba, Canada. I'm in Ontario.
We all had a mutual friend from Denmark, Liz. That was years ago.
I'm the same as you, I don't post often but I've been on this site for years. Guess were both true D-A-D fans.

Petrock -

Skelly, yeah, that's it. Is he still around? Also, I haven't seen Liz in AGES, either. You still in touch with her?
