I think D-A-D should put together another best of album, cos now they have been here for 20 years so it could be cool with a double cd, one with the "Peter years" on one with the "Laust years"

that would be a 3:6 combination....but I like the idea of another milestone material cd very much!

I think that will be the next thing with a combined CD/DVD like Lars Lilholt and Danser med Drenge, or maybe a live CD/DVD from Roskilde

after this record they could release a GREATEST, but then it have to be with the 3 last albums, cause laust is on them. Think it would be wrong to put some old songs together with laust and peter also because the band has changed a lot since.

but a dvd would be AWESOME!

why is it wrong to put tracks with laust and peter on the same album? sure they changed (not like it's their last chance to change;-)), but they're still D-A-D, And they're still cool - just like they were 20 years ago!

Not quite right there I think Zleep-Dogg.

Have you not noticed that the albums "comes in pairs" that they somehow are conneced two and two in style.
Like Call of the wild/Draws a Circle, No fuel Left/Riskin´ it All, Helpyourselfish/Simpatico, Everything Glows/Soft Dogs
If you know what I mean ? allthow its 20 years since the first album, there are still a red thread thru all of their albums

I know there's till a link between all the albums... my point was, that I don't think they started more over upon laust's entry, than they've always done... and as to the pair thing... I don't think you can see it like that... you might say that 2 following albums sound more alike, than 2 albums further apart in time...

Well you got the point of what I ment ! Smiley-midget

And back to topic, I think that IF they have to make a new bedst of album it should only go back to the last one, because there is no point in release the same songs on yet another Compilation if you know what I mean ?

Although the changes in style has not always been drastic from one album to the next, I don't think the albums necessarily "came in pairs".

For instance, I find it a bit far-fetched (to say the least) to claim that Helpyourselfish and Simpatico are two albums with the same style!

I just don't think the band's evolving style and sound can be said to be as linear as "something new everytime" or as predictable as "albums in pairs then a change".

Just my two cents Smiley
