Had a great concert in Århus this weekend, also met Cobber in town the day after the show. We shouted his name from a café and I think he thought someone he knew were shouting... But, it was just to crazy fans from Sweden Smiley-midget He came up and shook my hand anyway, nice fellow!

Is there someone out there who has access to past live shows before what the homepage has? I wonder about the specific show: Stockholm, Göta Lejon in 1989. Does anyone have the correct date there?

Thankful for any help!

I believe all dates up to 1998 are in the book Disneyland After Dark / Brændstof til drengedrømme. If you don't have the book I'd be happy to look it up for you...

Hi Jonas,

unfortunately I do not know the correct date either but when I see that the Gothenburg show is from May 10, 1989 I think it is rather likely that Stockholm was either a day before or the day after.

I’m sure there must be people in this forum here who know it (or maybe even have the ticket stub).

Take care my friend.

Hey guys, Longhorn: it's possible - but the taper (yes, it's been recorded) says he got in via the guestlist and have only written may-89 on the tape. Perhaps it's may 9th then?

D-A-Ddy - it would be very nice of you if you could look it up. Check if they played two shows in Stockholm, Göta Lejon that year (may and september) to not mix it up.

Hey Jonas,

I think we can forget about that second show in Stockholm in September because in September of '89 the band was on tour in the USA. Still the writing on that cassette is irritating. Who would write the day and the year on a cassette and drop the month ?

Maybe your friend has a US show from September '89 ???? This could be easy to find out by simply listening to what Jesper says..............

This whole case of the "unknown" show 9 - 89 is getting exciting, especially for a geek like me (when it comes down to places and dates) :-).

Best wishes

I can't find any date like that on the books tourlist or on my 89-90 no fuel reprint t-shirt. The only Stockholm dates I can find is:
18/2 1986 Hard rock café
10/10 1986 The ritz
27/6 1990 Grøna Lund
23/1 1992 The cirkus
10/2 1992 ???
24/4 1995 Liseberghallen
Nothing that looks like what you describe...

OK, so this is a new one then Smiley-pig Nice!

Only problem now is to determine the correct date for the Stockholm-show in May of 1989. 9th or 11th.

So i finally got my hands on the recording from "Göta Lejon" in may of 1989!!!

It's being transfered digitally as we speak and it's got the exact setlist GF wrote earlier.

Sound is defenitely ok to be 23 years old. I'll remove hiss from the tape and do a small EQ.

Anyone knows wheather this could be the day after or before the Gothenburg-show mentioned above?

After more than six years the answer is coming...
Thursday 11th may 1989 at Göta Lejon is the correct date for that consert in Stockholm.
Rock on!
