i recently re-played all my D-A-D vinyl, and ive gotta say the track 'Jonnie' is a corker!, infact, the bass-lines are awsome, BUT, it needs re-recording without the brass section!.
has this been done allready?....
if not, why not?

I couldn't agree with you more, the song is Fantastic and I love the musicvideo.
It actually could be nice if they played it live, cause I really do think that they could change the sound into someting a bit new.
Look at "Marlboro Man" and "Trucker", tey really work well live and sounds danm great!
Well.. forgive me if I'm wrong, but didn't the sound change a bit on these 2 songs??

i think maybe the 1st album was a much needed learning zone, it got rid of all that 'un-needed' stuff that usualy comes along later in a bands career. (shall we use keyboards and brass?...yeah!!! why not, we're paying for the studio time!)

it had a good 'raw' feel to the mix though.
and it 'grows' on ya!
